Installation

Connect power lead to the router
Connect ADSL Cable to the router
Connect Ethernet Cable \ USB Cable from router to computer
Make sure that all firewall and/or other protections on the computer are disabled (such as norton, avg etc…)
Open your Web Browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox.. Etc).
Type http://10.0.0.2 into the address bar.
Log in using    root as the USERNAME
And             root as the PASSWORD
This should open the home page.
Click on ‘QUICK CONFIGURATION’
Make sure that you have these settings (should be DEFAULT):
Encapsulation    PPPoA VC Mux
VPI              0
VCI              38
Enter your USER NAME and PASSWORD into the ‘QUICK CONFIGURATION’ page.
(USER NAME and PASSWORD supplied by ISP)
Scroll to the bottom of the sreen, and click on  SUBMIT
Click on ADMIN tab at top of menu.
Click on ‘COMMIT AND REBOOT’.
Click on COMMIT.
(you should see a warning saying  ‘if this page fails to redirect
to the commit and reboot page, please click here’ )
Now click on REBOOT.

 

Hard Reset

On the bottom of the Router, there is a hole, with a DEFAULT button underneath.
Take a PIN, or a PEN, and with the Power cable connected, press down the DEFAULT button
Hold the DEFAULT button down for at least 5 seconds, then release the button.
All, but the Power LED will go out, then the Router will reset itself.
leave the Router standing for a few minutes, for the RESET to take effect before use.

 

Port Forwarding

Open your Web Browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox.. Etc).
Type 192.168.0.20 into the address bar.
Log in using    root as the USERNAME
And             root as the PASSWORD
This should open the home page.
Click on the SERVICES tab.
Now click on NAT.
Open the drop-down box next to NAT OPTIONS,
And choose NAT RULE ENTRY, then click on ADD.

Now enter the following settings:

Rule Flavor                                   (default)   RDR
Rule ID                                         next NAT RULE entry number
IF Name                                      ALL
Protocol                                      ANY
Local Address From                    IP ADDRESS of LOCAL PC
Local Address To                        IP ADDRESS of LOCAL PC
Global Address From                   0.0.0.0   (or IP ADDRESS of EXTERNAL SOURCE if known)
Global Address To                       0.0.0.0   (or IP ADDRESS of EXTERNAL SOURCE if known)
Destination Port From                 Port Number To Be Opened
Destination Port To                     Port Number To Be Opened
Local Port                                  Port Number To Be Opened

Now Scroll to the bottom of the screen, and click on  SUBMIT
Click on ADMIN tab at top of menu.
Click on ‘COMMIT AND REBOOT’.
Click on COMMIT.
(you should see a warning saying  ‘if this page fails to redirect to the commit and reboot page, please click here’ )
Now click on REBOOT.

 

DMZ
