Installation

Connect the supplied power lead to the router
Connect ADSL Cable to the routers LINE port
Connect an Ethernet Cable \ USB Cable from router to computer(s)
Make sure that all firewall and/or other protections on the computer are disabled (such as norton, avg etc…)
Open your Web Browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox.. Etc).
Type into the Address Bar   10.0.0.2/main.html
This will take you to the ADVANCED LOGIN page.
type     admin         as User Name
password    as Password
Click on ADVANCED SETUP (left-hand) > WAN
this will take you to the WIDE AREA NETWORK SETUP screen
on this screen, you will see two settings:

VPI/VCI
0 / 38
0 / 35

click on the EDIT button for the (VPI/VCI) 0 / 38 connection setting
this will take you through a Wizard

please make sure that the following settings are as follows:

Service Category                       UBR without PCR
Quality of Service                      Ticked

click on NEXT

PPPoA over ATM (PPPoA)        checked / ticked
Encapsulation mode                 VC/MUX

click on NEXT

Now enter your ISP User Name and Password into the following boxes:

PPP Password
Authentication Method               AUTO

click on NEXT

Enable NAT                              checked / ticked
Enable Firewall                         checked / ticked
Enable WAN service                 checked / ticked
Service Name

click on NEXT

you wil be taken to the final screen – WAN SETUP SUMMARY
please make sure your settings are as follows, then click on SAVE:

now click on SAVE

the screen will refresh
now click on MANAGEMENT (left-hand), then click on SAVE / REBOOT
now click on the SAVE / REBOOT button on right.

the Router will now reboot itself. This may take a few minutes.
When the DSL or INTERNET light is lit, and solid, then the Router is ready for use.

please make sure that you have disabled all AntiVirus and Firewall Protection software

Now open your Web-Browser (internet Explorer… Firefox… etc).
If your ISP User Name and password are correct, then you should have Internet connectivity.

Wireless Setup – WEP

Open your Internet Explorer and highlight the Address Bar
type into the address bar   10.0.0.2/main.html  (default address)
this will open a login prompt.
type     admin         for User Name
password    for Password
the Web-interface will open, and you should see the DEVICE INFO screen
Click on WIRELESS (left-hand)
this will open the WIRELESS – BASIC screen
configure the settings, as follows:
ENABLE WIRELESS             Ticked
HIDE ACCESS POINT           Unticked
SSID                        highlight the SSID name, and delete it.
Now create a new name you will remember for the Wireless Connection
COUNTRY                     United Kingdom
ENABLE WIRELESS GUEST NETWORK  Unticked
GUEST SSID                     N/A
click on the SAVE / APPLY button (bottom)

Once the screen has refreshed, click on  SECURITY  (left-hand)
this will open the WIRELESS – SECURITY screen
configure the settings, as follows:
SELECT SSID                  Open the drop-down box, and choose the SSID name that you created
NETWORK AUTHENTICATION       OPEN
WEP ENCRYPTION               ENABLED
ENCRYPTION STRENGTH          64 bit
CURRENT NETWORK KEY          1

put your cursor into the NETWORK KEY 1 field, and type in the following:
(lower-case) e45f9ad2c1      (make a note of this key)
click on the SAVE / APPLY button (bottom)
Once the screen has refreshed, click on  MANAGEMENT  (left-hand)
click on the SAVE / REBOOT button (bottom), then click on the SAVE / REBOOT button (main screen)
The Router will now reboot itself and save the applied settings
please leave the Router to stand for a few minutes for settings to take effect

Now go to WIRELESS NETWORKS (bottom-right of screen, next to clock)
Right-click on WIRLESS NETWORKS, and click on VEIW AVALABLE WIRELESS NETWORKS
This will open a Wireless Utility.
You will see your Routers SSID In the list
Double-click on your SSID name to connect.
You will be prompted to enter a Security Key
Enter the WEP key you created on the Router.

Wireless Setup – WPA

the Web-interface will open, and you should see the DEVICE INFO screen
Click on WIRELESS (left-hand)

Once the screen has refreshed, click on  MANAGEMENT  (left-hand)
click on the SAVE / REBOOT button (bottom), then click on the SAVE / REBOOT button (main screen)
The Router will now reboot itself and save the applied settings
please leave the Router to stand for a few minutes for settings to take effect

Now go to WIRELESS NETWORKS (bottom-right of screen, next to clock)

Click on MANAGEMENT (left)
Click on SYSTEM LOG (left)
Click on CONFIGURE SYSTEM LOG
change the setttings as follows:
LOG                        Enable
LOG LEVEL             Informational
DISPLAY LEVEL      Informational
MODE                     Local
Now click on the SAVE / APPLY button
click on the SAVE / REBOOT button (bottom), then click on the SAVE / REBOOT button (main screen)
The Router will now reboot itself and save the applied settings
please leave the Router to stand for a few minutes for settings to take effect

Once the Router has rebooted, log back into the Routers Interface
Click on MANAGEMENT (left)
Click on SYSTEM LOG (left)
Click on VIEW SYSTEM LOG

can you see the following error message in the list?
User name and password authentication failed

Disable DHCP server.

Connect you computer to the router using an Ethernet cable.
Once this is done, open your Internet Explorer and highlight the Address Bar
type into the address bar  10.0.0.2/main.html  (default address)
this will open a login prompt.
type     admin         for User Name
password    for Password
the Web-interface will open, and you should see the DEVICE INFO screen
Click on ADVANCED SETUP (left) > LAN
Select the option DISABLE DHCP SERVER
Now click on the SAVE / APPLY button
click on the SAVE / REBOOT button (bottom), then click on the SAVE / REBOOT button (main screen)
The Router will now reboot itself and save the applied settings
please leave the Router to stand for a few minutes for settings to take effect

Obtain DNS from router

Connect you computer to the router using an Ethernet cable.
Once this is done, open your Internet Explorer and highlight the Address Bar
type into the address bar  10.0.0.2/main.html  (default address)
this will open a login prompt.
type     admin         for User Name
password    for Password
the Web-interface will open, and you should see the DEVICE INFO screen
down this screen, you will see options for

PRIMARY DNS SERVER
SECONDARY DNS SERVER

Please make a note of these two addresses.
Once this is done, close the Internet Explorer page.

Change router login

Connect you computer to the router using an Ethernet cable.
Once this is done, open your Internet Explorer and highlight the Address Bar
type into the address bar  10.0.0.2/main.html  (default address)
this will open a login prompt.
type     admin         for User Name
password    for Password
the Web-interface will open, and you should see the DEVICE INFO screen
click on MANAGEMENT (left) > ACCESS CONTROL > PASSWORDS

(to create a new USER account)

open the drop-down menu for USERNAME, and select USER
in the OLD PASSWORD field, type in       user
in the NEW PASSWORD field, type in a new password (no spaces allowed)
in the CONFIRM PASSWORD field, type the new new password as entered above (no spaces allowed)
Now click on the SAVE / APPLY button
click on the SAVE / REBOOT button (bottom), then click on the SAVE / REBOOT button (main screen)
The Router will now reboot itself and save the applied settings
please leave the Router to stand for a few minutes for settings to take effect

Port Forwarding

Open your Web Browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox.. Etc).
Type into the Address Bar   10.0.0.2/main.html
this will take you to the the ADVANCED LOGIN page.
type     admin         as User Name
password    as Password
go to ADVANCED SETTINGS (left-hand)
click on  NAT
click on ADD
Select  CUSTOM SERVER
Enter the following      Custom Server                     Enter a NAME for the connection
Server IP Address                (IP Address of computer port forwarding to)
External Port start               (external Port Number coming In)
External Port End                (external Port Number coming In)
Protocol                              TCP/ UDP
Internal Port Start                (Port number to be forwarded)
Internal Port End                 (Port number to be forwarded)
Click on SAVE/APPLY
Now got to MANAGEMENT (left-hand)
click on SAVE / REBOOT
click on the SAVE / REBOOT   button on right hand side

Your Router will be rebooted. This may take a few minutes.
when the INTERNET light is lit and solid, then the Router is ready for use.

Disable NAT

Connect power lead to the router
Connect ADSL Cable to the router
Connect Ethernet Cable \ USB Cable from router to computer
Make sure that all firewall and/or other protections on the computer are disabled (such as norton, avg etc…)
Open your Web Browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox.. Etc).
Type into the Address Bar   10.0.0.2/main.html
this will take you to the the ADVANCED LOGIN page.
type     admin         as User Name
password    as Password
click on WAN (left-hand)
click on EDIT, to configure wan settings
keep clickin on NEXT, untill you come to the NETWORK ADDRESS TRANSLATION SETTINGS screen
Un-tick the ENABLE NAT option
Click on NEXT, then click on SAVE
once the page has refreshed, click on SAVE / REBOOT (left-hand)
now click on the SAVE / REBOOT button (in right-hand screen)
the Router will now save your settings and reboot the Router

Hard Reset

With the Router powered up,
Hold down the “Reset” button on the underside of the router,
HOLD IT for 10 seconds, then release.
All the L.E.D’s should go OFF, then come back ON.
When the INTERNET light is ON and SOLID, then the Router is Ready for use

Enable DMZ

Type into the Address Bar  10.0.0.2/main.html
this will take you to the the ADVANCED LOGIN page.
Username – admin
Password – password
Click on NAT
Click on DMZ Host
Type in the Host’s IP Address
now click on SAVE

the screen will refresh
now click on MANAGEMENT (left-hand), then click on SAVE / REBOOT
now click on the SAVE / REBOOT button on right.

Firmware Upgrade

Please download the attached file (.rar) to your desktop (Password for ZIP file:     1234) or attached file (.zip)
Extract the file to your desktop   (do not change the file name or extension).
Now open your Internet Explorer
Type into the Address Bar  10.0.0.2/main.html
this will take you to the ADVANCED LOGIN page.
Username – admin
Password – password
on the main screen, click on MANAGEMENT > UPDATE SOFTWARE
Click on BROWSE
Browse to your DESKTOP, and highlight the .IMG file, then click on OPEN
Now click on the UPDATE SOFTWARE button

The process can take up to 7 – 8 minutes, so please be patient. When your TASKBAR tells you ‘’LOCAL AREA CONNECTION IS NOW CONNECTED’’,
please leave the Router to stand for a few minutes, for the settings to take effect

Once this is done, open your Internet Explorer
Type into the Address Bar   10.0.0.2/main.html
this will take you to the the ADVANCED LOGIN page.
type     admin         as User Name
password    as Password
Click on MANAGEMENT (left-hand) > SETTINGS
Click on RESTORE DEFAULT
Click on the RESTORE DEFAULT SETTINGS button
The Router will be re-booted, with the default values applied
